Blooper 2 – C’mon Seemon

College Days : First Year (2001)
Class: Filipino 1
Everybody would have to agree with me that Filipino is the most boring subject. Panaguri, pangngalan, patiwarik (haha..joke), pang-uri, etc. were our enemies back then. One incident that I can never forget made me realize that Filipino was not after all a boring subject.
Our Filipino teacher made my bestfriend Piolo (itago nlng natin sya sa pangalan na yan..hehe) read a story in Tagalog ( of course, Filipino nga eh) in front of the class. Papa Piolo read it aloud with the correct intonations and feelings, (in short dinibdib nya tlaga.) Although he was really into it, the rest of us were at height of our dreams and nightmares. Some were yawning. Others were daydreaming. Few were staring at the wall. Many of us were pretending that we were listening and following what he was reading. Then suddenly, everyone turned on him with all their attention. We heard him say “seemon, seemon” And I hurriedly perused my book to understand what he was saying. “Seemon, kailangan nating puntahan siya” , he continued reading aloud. Some of my classmates were already giggling! I went to the part of the story where he was reading. I found no seemon on it. Our teacher, who was known for being a “terror” was chuckling as well. This can’t be happening, I need to laugh too. And then, Viola! I laugh my head off!. It was , “C’mon, kailangan nating puntahan siya.” (”C’mon, we gotta go to her”.) Piolo realized what he had just said and he had the loudest laugh among us all. “I was just trying to see if you were really listening” , he justified.
Who said that Filipino is dreary?
In fairness of him, he was one of the brightest students of the class. Who would’ve thought that there would be an English word in a Filipino book? (***wink)

Kulang sa Pansin.. Lack of Attention… ADHD?? Haha. Not really. Definitely not Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
I hate attention. I am a shy person. Everyone I know can attest to that. But lately, I’ve been a pain in the neck when it comes to my boyfriend. I am a sucker of his attention. No, I am not needy at all. I just miss him. Being away from him really sucks. I become really sensitive and irrational. I would try to create tension between us. I just want his attention. Although his always there whenever I called him, for me, it is not enough. Something is lacking…his presence. Every woman can relate to this. Hehe. We are away for a year now and even it’s hard, we try to really hang on. We try to see each other every other month but it is not enough. Relationship is about companionship. I don’t think I can make it through another year like this. I miss him terribly. He is stronger than me. Everytime I tend to lose hope, he always cheers me up. Unlike myself, there was never an instance that he tried to give up on me. Thank you sweetie for standing firm. I love you.

Yahoo Messenger Invisible Detection

My Buddy Spy Snapshot:
Millions of people use Yahoo Messenger for chatting. One of YM’s features is the invisible mode. Apparently, like me, there are people would like to know whether their buddy is really offline or not. Well, why it would matter to know, you might ask, when obviously your friend doesn’t want to talk to you otherwise they would be online. Nosy..you might say. But c’mon, aren’t you curious? You might want to find out whether someone is trying to avoid you.
All I could think of is a third party software to do this. So I did a little research. There are lots of them and Buddy Spy is the one I particularly like. Aside from it can check for online status, it can also see your friend’s webcam status as well and what chatroom they are into if there’s any. Stalking? No, not really.. It’s just for the mere sake of knowing. Hehe. Yeah, right!
You need to sign-up for another yahoo account just for buddy spy. To get your contacts’ IDs all at once, sign-in to your yahoo email and hit “contacts” next to “mails” tab. On the right most corner of the page, click on “import/export”. Scroll down and click on “Yahoo! CSV”. Open this file from Buddy Spy and VIOLA!!!, you can now see who’s hiding from you. (*wink).
To my buddies out there, I am watching you!! LOL… Come-out, come-out, wherever you are! Haha .I am telling you ahead — you will also find out that I ,myself, am hiding. Hehe
