My Five “Business” Days

Post created on December 12, 2008 by Reesie under Blogger Posts · 3 Comments »

I am very busy these days because of these people here. I only have Saturday and Sunday to rest.

This is Monday: I really like Monday’s hair. I wonder how long would it take him to fix his hair or did he ever fix his hair? It looks like he just got up from bed. Oh well, I still l love him.

Tuesday is supposed to be Monday. But he insisted to be with me every Tuesday instead since he is busy breaking prisons during Mondays. Oh, how I just love Tuesday’s eyes.

Wednesday is just talented and so macho. Did I mention, he is very humble too? And so smart as well?

I always look forward for Thursday. He never fails to amaze me with his charm. And the smile, pamatay langaw.. Lol. I just love this picture of him. I wonder how he manage to be so beautiful even when he sleeps. :D

And of course, the greatest of them all, Friday. I love everything about him. He is my life. My inspiration. My true love. My happiness. My number one. My partner. My forever. Need I say more?

Feeling guapa,

P.S. I am debating of giving up my free time. Among the thousand georgous men on the line, who should be my Saturday and Sunday? WAAAAAAA.Hahaha. Wake me UP! Or better yet, slap me (360 degrees) on my face! Lol

The Twilight Sequel : New Moon

Post created on December 10, 2008 by Reesie under Blogger Posts · No Comments »

Catherine Hardwicke, Twilight’s director, was allegedly axed to direct New Moon. Summit Entertainment, which owns the Twilight series franchise, is pushing the second movie to be shown in November 2009 which the acclaimed director wouldn’t comply. She also had some valid concerns of the storyline of the movie.

Jacob Black, would play a big part in the story. She didn’t think that Taylor Lautner (pictured) can pull it off. First of all, Lautner is not an American Native Indian. Second of all , in the book, Jacob would be growing really tall and muscular ready for his transformation into a werewolf and Lautner is just 16 years old. There was also the matter of casting native indians, which she thought, would be a challenge. Another concern of hers is that my crush Edward, played by Robert Pattinson is not part of the story until the middle portion. Edward left to keep Bella safe and eventually Jacob was Bella’s night in shining armor. He kept her alive during Edward’s absence. Basically, a new love team sprung. It would be hard to build the chemistry between Jacob-Bella as strong as the beloved Edward-Bella team-up. She was thinking of not following the book completely – that Edward would be on the story – showing his depression on living away from Bella – which would be difficult for die-hard fans of Stephenie Meyer’s book.

Lastly, she’d wanted more budget for this film, which I think is fair enough. Twilight’s budget was 38M and currently, its gross sales amounted to $138M. To surpass Twilight’s recognition, a bigger budget is just reasonable.

I don’t really care who’s going to be the new director as long as he/she is going to give justice to Meyer’s book. Also, they should fire the screenwriter as well. The dialogues were a little too cheesy compared to the book and there were really relevant scenes in the book that were cut-off in the movie. As long as they are not going to change Rob (feeling close) as Edward, there won’t be a problem in my side(feeling producer.)

A book is still and always will be the better storyteller than a film. I can’t wait for New Moon to hit the big screen though!

The Twilight Mania

Post created on December 4, 2008 by Reesie under Blogger Posts · No Comments »

It was hard to admit that I am hooked with this vampire-human romance saga. First, I am no teenager. This story is categorized as ‘young-adult’. Well on second thought, I am a young adult. Lol. Second, I am not really a fan of romance stories – romantic comedy perhaps, but not this “Til death, do us part” type of story … Romeo and Juliet chuvaness. Achulley, vampires don’t die so the “‘Til death do us part” doesn’t apply here. Anyway….

Thanksgiving day, I was bored since I didn’t have to do anything. My sister volunteered to cook. I wasn’t allowed to touch the kitchen. Jaime was studying on the other hand. So that left me with the ever loyal TV. I was flipping through the channels ’til I got to E! Twilight was featured. Tons and I really mean tons of people were lining up to see the movie. Well, I don’t know where was I this whole time. How come I haven’t heard of this movie? It even surpassed the Quantum of Solace box office standing. And oh, that young actor, the main character of the movie, he looks familiar! Then I remembered, he was that good-looking boy Cedric in Harry Potter who Voldemort killed. If I were 22 or younger, I would marry him. :D

So I dragged my boyfriend to go to the theater with me. He wanted to watch Quantum of Solace instead. I bribed him. I gave him a threat. I begged. I was trying to be cute. It worked. I won!

Sure enough, it was darn good! I felt like I was still in high school. I was so “kilig”. Lol. The story is not that unusual you know- a vampire falls for a human being- but the author managed to make it really addictive. Aylaveyt! Funny, it turned out, Jaime fell in love with too! Well, not as much as I do. At least, I can watch the next one with him again in 2010. What’s up with all these movies with series? Why would it take them yearssss to launch the next one?

I read the 2nd book entitled “New Moon” in one day. I got an ecopy of it. PM if you want me to forward it to you. You won’t regret! Pramis!

I can’t wait to read the 3rd book, Eclipse, and see where the Edward-Bella romance is heading. You know what, why should I wait.. I am going to get it today!!!
