Bustling Weekend

Last Friday was a drag. We had a boring training on GIS (Geographic Informations Systems), a mix of specialized software and data that allows linking locations on a map with information about those locations.
I had no idea why was I being sent to attend the said training, all I know was I had to or else I would be in big trouble. What did I learn? Aba, ewan! Seriously, I learned a lot – things that were new to me – gaya nalng na there are three types of geographic coordinate systems namely ; the well known-longitude/latitude, UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) and State Plane. Last Thursday, I received a wonderful package galing Germany.
Little goodies and souvenirs,
And a cute pair of earings ,
moi and my cute nephew, sean
These cute goodies are from my sweet and thoughtful e-mom, An2nette. Galing siya sa Espanya and it was so sweet of her to send me some souvenirs.
I’ve known Mommy for only a couple of months but she’s one of the few persons in the blogosphere that I really treasure the most. Nameet ko siya dahil tambay din sya Reyna Elena -(I’ve come to meet many wonderful people through RE gaya nalang ng isa diyan nagngangalang Silver.)
Madiyr An2nette is such a cool mom and her children are surely lucky to have her as their mother.
Thank you so much, mommy An2nette. Sana makabisita ako sa mansion bahay-kubo mo sa Forbes. Happy Trip din sayo papunta Pinas this June. Lab yah!
Kris Allen Won American Idol

When asked about what he wanted to say, Kris said ” I don’t know… Adam deserves this.”
It was a shock to many even to Kris, but it wasn’t to me. When Gookey got voted out, my vote turned to Kris Allen and so the million fans of Gookey, I believe. The votes that supposed to go to Danny Gookey went to Kris Allen. Both are down-to-earth and conventional. The over-the-top style of Adam Lambert may impressed some but turned off many. I really still believe that Adam’s eyeliner was the reason for his loss. Lols. 
Nevertheless, Lambert is one of the incredible singers that graced Idol.
Sabi nga ni Manong Bill Gates ” If there’s one cultural quality we have, it’s that we always see ourselves as an underdog.”

Heto na naman siya, nagpapacute! Akala niya siguro makukuha nya ako sa kindat nya.
Kala niya siguro kikiligin ako sa mga pasaring nyang nakakataba ng puso.
Hmpt! Hindi ako easy to get. Tinuruan ako ng nanay ko na magpakipot, noh!
Sabi ni nanay sa aming mga magkakapatid na babae,
‘Wag kayong cheap! Pahirapan nyo ang inyong mga manliligaw! Wag kaagad ibigay ang inyong maasim na OO”
Yes, sometimes nagcocoach din ang nanay pagdating sa pag-ibig. Sabi pa niya, kung gaano daw kadali ang OO mo, ganon din daw kabilis natatapos ang relasyon. Read more
