D’Outsiders

Guess who’s back? Oh yes, I am soo back.
I know all of you can so relate with my TAMADitis. Reason for it? I honestly don’t know. Perhaps it was PMS-induced laziness chuva ek ek. That would be my best explanation for the lack of updates of this blog. My momentum to blog had dropped to zero. Now, it goes back to 80 %… not quite back yet but I am getting there. 
My friend, Farrah, and I have been working on our blog for couple of weeks now although I was on a self-imposed hiatus mode last week. We are thousands of miles away ( she’s in Vancouver) hence, it was quite a challenge to gather each others’ ideas for the blog. That explains why it took us a month to introduce/launch our blog.
You might remember Farrah from my post HERE few months ago about her personal blog. Now, we decided to collaborate on a blog we called the D’Outsiders. Here’s what our blog is all about:
D’Outsiders is a collaboration of friends, Reesie and Farrah. These two girlalush have been friends since they were in high school. They went to Florida and work at the same company. One day, isang araw, nagsawa na sila sa kanilang pagmumukha and decided to live separate lives (parang kanta lang). Farrah went to Los Angeles and decided to get hitched ng bonggang-bongga. She’s blessed with a beautiful son and a wonderful husband. Now, her family is in Vancouver, Canada in search of a better life. Meanwhile, naiwan ang Reesie sa Florida and after a month, she decided to move to New Mexico with her sister. Dahil hindi nakatiis, her handsome boyfriend JLC followed her after a year and now they live happily ever after. Waaa. You can erase the last part of that sentece. Di nga, magpapakasal na sila really soon.
Once upon a time, the two friends chatted online (while working), and came up with an idea to collaborate on a certain site that would talk about things women love – beauty and health, fashion and style, food, etc.
Since it is normal that two friends don’t agree sometimes, they created a category they called Flipin’ D Coin. This is where you’ll see how these two close friends differ in opinion. Don’t worry, walang personalan, trabaho lang. They promised that they wont resort to catfights. On the other hand, both have boxing gloves if they should insist.
Why D’ Outsiders? Well, it was actually a joke – kung may “the insiders”, meron din “the outsiders”. Hindi ka natawa? Bahala ka!! Seriously, Farrah and Reesie are currently living their lives out of their country thus the name “the outsiders” suits them well. Living outside the Philippines gives them a great perspective about the country. Paminsan-minsan, kailangan nating lumayo para ma-appreciate ang mga bagay-bagay na dati nating kinagawian. Madaming realizations , hindi lahat maganda, lahat ng ito they will discuss in this blog.
Our recent Flip D’ Coin entry is ” Does LDR (Long Distance Relationship) Work?” Farrah and I have different takes on the topic. Please check it out guys!

Welkam bak Manay! So that is your love story/journey/ across the universe. Yap, I remember your friend. I once embed the family pics in one of my blog entries.
Em pak, tinanong mo pa kung kilala ko. Not actually, yan ang sagot ko. Kilala the blagisperya way reading the about page and looking some pictures and not the earthly traditional way of meeting people where you have to shake hands, tsikaan na talbugan ang ang laway (sori about that) and of course, may konting kurutan without pasa dahil mahirap na. And then bago maghiwalay, the viso-viso of course…
Next is vivisitahin ung blog na tinutukoy mong collaboration. Salamat pala sa respond na vivisitahin mo ang haws ko pag-ikaw babalik.
