A Hundred Smiles

Do you like to have a photo of yourself taken by a pro for free? Wait no more!
Charing lang.. I sounded like I am really advertising. I am just trying to be a good friend here. Okay, here we go….
One of my beastfwendz forced me to promote his photography project in Manila this December. Yes, walang bayad ito. Hmpt!Kahit Christmas gift, wala. Grr.
Jesslee intends to capture a hundred smiles in a day in Manila. He did it in Japan successfully together with a friend of his. The photos turned out really good. Aside from his talent, the subjects’ reactions were really natural that is why the output is amazing. I don’t want to admit to him but I am loving his photos. Hehe. They bring positivity to the world…to me. I can’t help but smile upon seeing so many smiling people.
You can check out his photos of bunch of smiling people HERE. While you are at it, you can also check his website HERE and some of his works HERE.
So if you are in Manila in December 27 and interested of getting a wonderful photo of yourself or a photo with your kids, wife, mistresses, dog, cat, horse, etc. taken like the ones below, email Jesslee at simplyjesslee[at]gmail[dot]com or you can leave a reply on this post. The only requirement is you SMILE like this
or this
or this
…whatever you like.
OR if by any chance, you will see a guy in the street or in the mall shooting
people who have photo frames in their hands then that’s him..that’s your chance right there! Grab his attention by giving your best wacky smile. LOL
I will update this post as soon as I get the time and the venue of this event from him or you can email him directly for details.
Oh…one more thing, you should ask for compensation from him as well… you’re sort of a model you know. You should get paid, right? LOL. (Patay ako nito)
Seriously, the compensation that you would get is a very nice photo taken by a very talented photographer. Perhaps, you can print a poster size of it afterward and hang it in your office door/wall and you’ll be the subject of envy. HiHi.

Over the weekend…
I lost two posts – Invictus and Avatar. I should’ve backed them up before changing my hosting service. Darn.
I did my laundry and watched Invictus. As expected, the movie was amazing and so was Matt Damon.
JLC, Belle and I had snowball fight yesterday and I slipped and fell on my butt. It was fun though my butt still hurts until now.
My two nieces are in the hospital. Sad.
One year has passed yet my dad is still bedridden. He’s getting worse. I am losing hope.
My family’s health is more important than my poor financial health.
When it rains, it pours.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend, folks.
What did you do? Yes you, the one and the only reader of this blog.
This song makes me feel good these days:
Seeyah!

I can’t get my buns from updating this blog. I apoligize for that. It took me three attempts to log in.. I forgot my password already. Hihi. I have 307 pending comments. Mostly are spams. I can’t get Akismet to work in this blog, I don’t know why. Darn it, I have to delete them manually!
I woke up from my self-imposed blogging hiatus when I heard that Barrio Siete will have a meet up in Manila. Inggit ako to the nth level! I can’t wait to see the pictures, mga kabarrio!
Anyways, hope you guys are doing okay. I just visited my cute nephew, my sister and my mom in Vegas. It was a breath of fresh air.
It is snowing here today and I hate it. It is really cold. It felt like forever while driving to the office this morning. It scared the sh*t out of me (sorry for the french). I saw a lot of car rollovers. I did the flip driving once and it was scary. I’d rather walk than drive although it is impossible not to use the wheels to get to work.
I was following the Maguindanao massacre brouhaha these past few days. Everyday I check 5 different Philippine news sites to keep myself up to date to this unbelievable tragedy. Eventhough Ampatuan Jr was already arrested, I really hate the idea that GMA did not suspend Ampatuan Sr from his gubernatorial duties.
Speaking of the dwarf in Malacanang, I was disgusted when I heard that she’s running for Congress. I mean c’mon now! She still wants to serve the public daw — bullshit! I am also upset that Randy David backed out to run against the witch.
I hate politics and I seldom talk about it but with all the hullabaloo going on I can’t keep my mouth shut. Reading the news back home can surely be a stressful ordeal.
Meanwhile, I really need to play this Game to alleviate the stress. Try it, you’ll love it. I can’t count how many times I played it ..that’s how pissed I am. Hint: go for the mole.
